Brian Ladd

Brian Ladd is President of the Art Gallery Society of New South Wales. A graduate in sculpture from the National Art School, Sydney, Brian is a specialist in European and Australian sculpture, and brings a broad knowledge and enthusiasm to the study of art.

From 1996 to 2010, Brian led the Public Programs department at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, which was responsible for diverse programs that enlivened the Gallery and engaged audiences with art.

Since 1995 Brian has led successful Art Gallery Society tours to Europe and the USA, and has a particular interest in art of the Iberian Peninsula. His recent tours have included: Iberian Mosaic: Andalusia to the Atlantic (Spain and Portugal) in 2014, The Road to Santiago: Art, Architecture, Culture and Gastronomy in Green Spain in 2016 and Art Treasures of Madrid and Andalusia in 2017. His upcoming tours include Masterworks from MoMA in Melbourne in July 2018 and Iberian Mosaic: Portugal, Galicia and the Basque Country in September 2018.
