Music, Ballet and Art in Melbourne

Thrill to extraordinary performances of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, virtuosos Lang Lang and Vadim Gluzman along with the Monte Carlo Ballet, bringing fiery life to the Melbourne winter in 2019.

Enjoy a series of concerts by the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, including Rachmaninov’s Third Symphony, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto performed by the superb violinist Vadim Gluzman, and piano virtuoso Lang Lang performing Mozart’s sublime piano concerto no.24.

Then, be captivated by the visiting world-renowned Monte Carlo Ballet with a performance of LAC, an adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s classic Swan Lake by choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot.

In between performances, enjoy Melbourne’s rich collection of art galleries including the new Housemuseum Galleries (opening early 2019), and a special guided tour of the annual Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria.
