Ruth Pullin

Dr Ruth Pullin is an art historian, a Eugene von Guérard specialist and the curator of the National Gallery of Victoria’s major 2011 touring exhibition, Eugene von Guérard: Nature Revealed (as co-curator) and Eugene von Guérard: Artist-Traveller, Ballarat Art Gallery, 2018. She is the author / co-author of three books on von Guérard and widely published in Australian and international journals and anthologies. A recipient of research fellowships at the state libraries of New South Wales and Victoria, she is currently researching Eugene von Guérard’s engagements with Victoria’s First Peoples with the support of an Australian Institute of Art History Grant.
