ASQ Weekend of Music
Enjoy a weekend of chamber music at its very finest, performed in the picturesque vineyards of Western Australia’s Margaret River. Travel in the company of art and music aficionado Alan Dodge for one of the annual highlights of the Australian chamber music calendar, attending a series of concerts by the world-class Australian String Quartet in the exquisite surroundings of some of Australia’s most renowned wine estates.
After each concert, sit down to a superb gourmet dining experience paired with specially selected wines, and meet the artists themselves in an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. On the final day, take a day trip south along the rugged coastline to further explore this unique part of Western Australia.
Note: this tour is designed to connect with Private Art Collections of Western Australia with Alan Dodge from the 26–30 October 2020.
Meet Alan and fellow travellers at The Westin Perth located at 480 Hay Street, Perth at 10:00.

Then, continue to the hotel in the coastal town of Yallingup.
This evening, attend the opening concert of the Australian String Quartet Weekend of Music at Vasse Felix, followed by dinner at the estate’s renowned restaurant. This evening the ASQ are joined by acclaimed mezzo-soprano Fiona Campbell and internationally-renowned recorder player Genevieve Lacey.
Today, travel to Cape Mentelle winery for a morning concert in the original barrel cellar of the winery, followed by a picnic lunch in the vineyards.
