In Treviso, explore the elegant canals and cathedral, whose chapels preserve important Renaissance masterpieces, before venturing to Possagno, birthplace of Antonio Canova. Then, travel south to Padua, where Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel marks a turning point in European painting and the great basilicas and university reflect centuries of intellectual life.

Continue to Vicenza, gateway to Palladio’s architectural legacy and the harmonious villas of the Veneto countryside. Conclude in Verona, where Roman, medieval and Renaissance monuments coexist within a city enriched by centuries of artistic patronage.

Tour members must be able to:
•    negotiate airports and railway stations without wheelchair assistance
•    use combined shower/bath facilities (it is impossible to guarantee walk-in shower facilities)
•    undertake walking tours of 1-2 hours duration, including using stairs, walking over cobblestones and other uneven surfaces
•    stand for long periods in museums and other sites
•    embark / disembark coaches, trains and other methods of transportation without assistance
•    handle their own luggage
