Admire historical works still on display in Arthur Boyd’s studio, filled with artworks, books and personal items from four generations and marvel at Australian art collections at Bundanon’s Art Museum. Delight in Bundanon’s charming English-style gardens and enjoy a sojourn at The Bridge, the on-site hotel designed by Melbourne-based architect Kerstin Thompson.
Visit Ngununggula, the Southern Highlands Regional Gallery and passion project of artist Ben Quilty, which showcases both traditional and contemporary artworks.

Meet your tour leader Matthew Westwood and fellow travellers at the rear entrance of Sydney Four Seasons Hotel on Harrington Street at 9:00am. Then, depart for Bowral and visit Ngunuggula, the Southern Highlands Regional Art Gallery that has opened in the grounds of Retford Park. Located in a repurposed dairy on the former estate of James Fairfax AC, Ngununggula is the particular passion project of local artist Ben Quilty.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Bundanon and check in to The Bridge, an innovative multi-purpose building praised for its forward-looking architectural design. Meet Matthew for a talk before enjoying dinner on site.

After breakfast, transfer to Arthur Boyd’s homestead and Studio for a tour. Surrounded by an English style garden, the two-story homestead is filled with fine artworks, furniture, books and personal items, from four generations of the Boyd family, while the studio remains untouched, evoking the creative life of Arthur Boyd.
Enjoy a gentle walk through the Treelines Track by Janet Laurence, following the passage of trees to connect the natural bush to the homestead, tracing the history of plantings across the Bundanon landscape and exploring its history, memory and biodiversity.
Upon return to Bundanon, enjoy lunch before a visit to the Bundanon Art Museum. Arthur and Yvonne Boyd’s extraordinary philanthropic gift comprises over 3,600 pieces, including significant work by Arthur Boyd himself and his contemporaries, such as Sidney Nolan and Brett Whiteley.
In the evening, meet for a talk by Matthew before dinner.

After breakfast, enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Arthur Boyd’s private collection store room. Depart Bundanon for Bowral and enjoy lunch at a local winery.
Afterwards, travel to Sydney where tour arrangements conclude upon arrival at the Sydney’s Four Seasons Hotel.
