The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair returns in 2027 with works of more than 75 Indigenous art centres and over 1,500 rising and established Indigenous artists from across the continent. The artworks exhibited range from canvas paintings to didgeridoos, sculpture, bark paintings, prints and fibre art, and cover a wealth of styles reflecting the distinct traditions of different nations across Australia.

Gain special access to the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards exhibition in Darwin, celebrating the great diversity of First Nations art, fashion and culture.

Then, travel to Kakadu National Park, where rock art at Burrungkuy and Ubirr from up to 20,000 years ago represents the very beginnings of Australian art.

•    negotiate airports and railway stations without wheelchair assistance
•    use combined shower/bath facilities (it is impossible to guarantee walk-in shower facilities)
•    undertake walking tours of 1-2 hours duration, including using stairs, walking over cobblestones and other uneven surfaces
•    stand for long periods in museums and other sites
•    embark / disembark coaches, trains and other methods of transportation without assistance
•    handle their own luggage
