Begin in Delhi, where the formal Presidential Gardens at Rashtrapati Bhavan open briefly each spring, revealing a colourful display of roses, tulips and flowering bulbs. Explore some of the city's finest historic landscaped gardens, including Lodhi Gardens and Humayun's Tomb.

Continue to Agra to discover the gardens of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh before travelling via Fatehpur Sikri to Jaipur, home to the elegant palace gardens of Sisodia Bagh and Vidyadhar Bagh and a reflection of Rajasthan's royal heritage. 

Conclude in Udaipur, where the celebrated Saheliyon-ki-Bari and elegant lakeside gardens showcase a different expression of India's garden tradition.

Tour members must be able to:
•    negotiate airports and railway stations without wheelchair assistance
•    use combined shower/bath facilities (it is impossible to guarantee walk-in shower facilities)
•    undertake walking tours of 2-3 hours duration, including using stairs, walking over cobblestones and other uneven surfaces
•    climb staircases of 100 or more steps
•    stand for long periods in museums and other sites
•    embark / disembark coaches, trains and other methods of transportation without assistance
•    handle their own luggage
