The Paris Opera Ballet in Brisbane
Delight in two captivating performances by the oldest national ballet company, the Paris Opera Ballet, performing exclusively in Brisbane this July.
Take advantage of among the best seats in the house at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre for Tchaikovsky’s great masterpiece Swan Lake, presented in a version especially created for the Paris Opera Ballet by acclaimed ballet dancer and choreographer Rudolf Nureyev.
Also, enjoy Parisienne Soirée, a more recent production by the Paris Opera Ballet, which premiered at the Palais Garnier in 2016 and is now synonymous with the company. The performance includes three celebrated pieces: Blake Works, choreographed by American William Forsythe; Jerome Robbins’ renowned one-act ballet In The Night; and The Seasons’ Canon, choreographed by Canadian Crystal Pite.
Between the performances, enjoy a relaxing two-day sojourn on the Sunshine Coast.
