Arrive in Sydney and make your way to the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney. Renaissance Tours or your travel agent can assist you with your flights and other travel arrangements, including a private transfer to the hotel, accommodation before or after the tour or a room category upgrade.

At 15:30, join your tour leader Marshall McGuire for a welcome briefing and talk about this evening’s performance.

Enjoy an early dinner with Marshall and fellow travellers before attending a performance of Così fan tutte at the Sydney Opera House. Be swept away by the sublime music and luminous production of Mozart’s comic romance, directed by celebrated director David McVicar, and featuring mezzo soprano Helen Sherman, soprano Alexandra Oomens, with Richard Anderson as Don Alfonso.

This morning, meet Art Deco specialist Claudia Chan Shaw for a private walking tour discovering Art Deco architectural gems of Sydney’s CBD, concluding with a private guided tour of the opulent State Theatre.

After lunch, return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.

In the evening, walk to the Sydney Opera House for a performance of Hamlet. Witness Shakespeare’s iconic play, transformed by Australian composer Brett Dean into an impressive opera that was a lauded success at England’s Glyndebourne Festival in 2017.
