Join classical music specialists Phillip Sametz and Mairi Nicolson for seven days of world-class performances of opera, music and theatre by leading Australian and international artists.
Delight in the final night of the Festival’s hallmark production for 2022, Rimsky-Korsakov’s opera, The Golden Cockerel, directed by Australia’s most celebrated international opera director, Barrie Kosky, and starring English bass-baritone Pavlo Hunka, Russian soprano Venera Gimadieva and tenor Andrei Popov.
Attend a concert by the acclaimed Australian Haydn Ensemble directed by Erin Helyard, and
a performance by Karin Schaupp and the Flinders Quartet. Revel in an oratorio directed by Adelaide Festival co-director Neil Armfield and a theatre piece starring the award-winning British actor Juliet Stevenson, as well as a new international dance production entitled The Rite of Spring.
