Lucienne Joy is a well-known radio personality who worked for over 10 years as a presenter for ABC Radio. She lived and worked in the South of France, where she ran a popular chat show on Riviera Radio. During this time, she had the opportunity to interview numerous eminent personalities, such as Prince Albert of Monaco, film director Robert Altman, photographer Helmut Newton, the French chef Roger Vergé and the notorious Mayor of Nice, Jacques Médecin. As a one-time local, she has an in-depth insider’s knowledge of the French Riviera, having gained access to some of the area’s most important villas, libraries and historical sites. In 2008 she published a book, Ulterior Motives, which is set in the area.
