Andy Bromberger’s musical career began as a professional clarinetist teaching and playing in numerous orchestras as well as performing in her own successful quintet, Enigma Five. Over a decade ago she started a music appreciation series “Coffee, Cake and Culture” presenting lectures to intimate private groups exploring music’s social history and the political, environmental and societal circumstances which influenced composers, performers and the listening public. She has given regular talks at the Art Gallery of NSW, and has a podcast called “Coffee Cake and Culture – the music podcast”.
