Jeremy Clarke, PhD is a cultural historian and author, who first travelled to China in 1985. Since then, he has seen the changes that have taken place in this beautiful, complex country. Jeremy speaks Mandarin and has guided groups throughout China over many years. Jeremy’s interests include east-west cultural exchange, Chinese gardens, art and architecture, and Chinese-Australian history. Jeremy was an Assistant Professor of History at Boston College and has lectured at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. He is also the founder of the Boorowa Literary Festival.
