Matthew Westwood has been a journalist for thirty years and has written about the arts for most of this time. As an arts correspondent for The Australian, he reports on classical music, opera, theatre and visual arts. Matthew has covered international festivals from Adelaide to Bayreuth and Verbier, and major exhibitions from the Hermitage, Musee d’Orsay and the Prado. As well as concerts, plays and exhibitions, he reports on arts policy and the cultural industries. Additionally, Matthew is a fellow of the University of Southern California/Getty Arts Journalism Program.
