Dr Simon Weir is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Sydney, a practising artist, writer and experienced public speaker on art and architecture. He has presented public programs for the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, GCS Gallery and Mosman Art Gallery, and has exhibited his own work in Australia and Europe. His research and teaching span architectural history, modern and contemporary art, museum design and Surrealism. Simon holds a PhD in Architecture and in 2026 was awarded a research fellowship at the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí in Spain.
