Arrive in Sydney on suggested flights and make your own way to the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney for check-in from 3:00pm. Renaissance Tours or your travel agent can assist you with your flights and other travel arrangements, including a private transfer to the hotel, accommodation before or after the tour or a room category upgrade.  

 At 17:00, meet your tour leader Phillip Sametz and fellow travellers for a welcome briefing in the hotel, followed by a special welcome dinner at one of Sydney’s fine restaurants.

After a morning talk about today’s performance, enjoy some time at leisure for an early lunch, followed by the concert performance by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra of Richard Wagner’s Die Walküre 

Witness Wagner’s operatic masterpiece under the baton of the esteemed Australian conductor Simone Young showcasing a stellar cast of internationally acclaimed soloists, including Stuart Skelton as Siegmund, Anja Kampe as Brünnhilde, Tommi Hakala in the role of Wotan, Vida Miknevičiūtė as Sieglinde, and Michaela Schuster as Fricka. 

After the performance, enjoy a farewell dinner with Phillip and fellow travellers at one of Sydney’s distinguished restaurants on Circular Quay.
