In addition, visit the private studio of a renowned Australian jewellery designer and a bespoke gallery displaying Australia’s largest collection of contemporary jewellery designed by local artists.
Delve deep into the fashion and design of the 1960s at a special exhibition and explore a world of costumes and props from five decades of Australia’s performing arts history.

Afterwards, visit the private jewellery studio of a renowned local designer, whose innovative object designs feature a wide range of metals, materials and contemporary approaches.
This afternoon, enjoy a curator-led tour of the Swinging 60s exhibition at the Old Treasury Building, displaying memorabilia about life in Victoria during that decade. Included are ephemera and costumes, such as the one worn by Judith Durham, lead singer of The Seekers, and some designed by Prue Acton, Australia’s ‘golden girl’ of fashion.

After breakfast, visit a local gallery housing Australia’s largest collection of unique, handmade contemporary jewellery bringing world-class Australian and New Zealand jewellery design to collectors worldwide.
After lunch, discover 50 fascinating objects from five decades of the Australian Performing Arts Collection at the Arts Centre Melbourne. From large-scale set pieces to intimate treasures, this special exhibition unearths storied items from Australia’s performing arts history and presents them up-close-and-personal, many for the first time.
The evening is at leisure.

This morning, walk to the National Gallery of Victoria to visit Cartier, a landmark exhibition developed by the Victoria & Albert Museum in London in partnership with NGV and Cartier.
Featuring more than 300 extraordinary objects, from precious jewels and historic gemstones to iconic watches and clocks, this exhibition traces the evolution of Cartier’s enduring legacy, with loans from private and institutional collections from around the world, including some of Cartier’s most iconic pieces.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to further explore the gallery at your own pace.
This evening, join Claudia and fellow travellers for a special farewell dinner at one of Melbourne’s fine restaurants.
